Energy Performance Certificates
Commercial energy performance certificates were introduced in late 2007 and are required by law when selling or letting a commercial property; they give information on how to make the premises more energy efficient. Properties are given a current and potential rating by way of a graph with a score ranging from A to G; the higher the rating the lower the running costs. The potential rating shows the effect of undertaking the improvement measures listed on the certificate.
Our experienced energy assessors are fully insured and CRB checked. We are also part of an accreditation scheme where our work is regularly audited to ensure accuracy and the high standards are adhered to. |
Fine AssessmentThe on-site assessment of a residential dwelling will usually take between 30 minutes to 1 hour, and will involve the assessor collecting information using various tools to assess the current and potential energy rating of the property.

Data & EvidenceDue to quality assurance implemented by accreditation schemes, the assessor is required to collect data and evidence to validate installation dates for extensions, conversions, insulation, glazing and renewable technologies.
